One thought can change everything

Thinking out loud after a journey

As I surfaced from a Changa journey, an abundance of questions raced through my mind:

  • What the hell was that?
  • What can I learn from that?
  • What the hell was that?

For those who are unfamiliar, Changa provides an extended journey into the world of DMT, extending the typical 5–15 minute experience to an astounding 30–45 minute deep dive.

Let me tell you, the experience was beyond intense. It is impossible to describe in words alone. But in the midst of the chaos, something became clear. It felt like an eternity, but at last I could breathe deeply once more. The clouds of doubt and depression that had clung to me for the past few months started to disappear with each breath.

I took my journey because I felt like I was running at 50 miles per hour on a treadmill, and I was getting nowhere. I felt like it was time to break free from the treadmill of stagnation and propel myself forward.

It is no easy task of integrating such an experience into daily life. However, through the mist of doubt, an inkling of understanding emerged. It only takes a single thought to spark transformation.  Yes, something was changing inside of me. Today after too long silent, I began writing again.

There’s a growing momentum, and I intend to maintain it.

Right now, I’m thinking that I need to adjust the way I view money, and success. I want to stress that, regrettably, in this world, money is really important. I can use it to pay my mortgage and bills, get my kids and family gifts, and buy my wife some flowers. I could even consider taking a vacation once a year. So yes, money is important, but I’m beginning to understand that it really comes down to my mindset and the way I see the world. And with a new perspective, I might even be able to make more. Work in an industry that I enjoy working in and more. And not have to be stressed out every month on how much will come in.

A fresh day has arrived, bringing with it a change in outlook. Our attitude toward life determines its actual potency. Our minds are notoriously difficult to change since they are ingrained with habits. However, when using psychedelics, these patterns can be broken, opening up previously undiscovered potential vistas.

In that process of clearing my mind, I have arrived at the unexpected realization that a single thought has the power to alter our whole existence. Now that I have this new information, I am ready for anything. My life’s narrative can be transformed, one idea at a time.
